Light and sound never cease to intrigue our race. We use it to understand this world, to understand each other and often, to celebrate. Today proved to be yet another excuse to revel in the joys they provide through fireworks. The sun refused to show its face all day through the mist swirling through the streets, but once light began to fade people began exploring a different kind of light through the darkness. The air remained teeming with mist, making the light and sound procured less distinct. It all appeared magical, except for the lone cow that ran wildly through the streets, frightened by the entire happening.
